Digital TV Gateway - takes in Digital free-to-air TV broadcasts (DVB-T) and re-broadcasts TV channels onto a network infrastructure using multicast or unicast protocols. Any user on the network can then playback the live TV stream using any desktop PC or Digital Signage Media Player, such as ONELAN’s Net-Top-Box.

The TV and radio channels are delivered to the TVG in DVB-T format down a single 75 Ohm coax cable. The six tuner TVG1065 can typically deliver all the
TV and radio broadcasts available in a given country.
The TVG outputs an Ethernet stream of each configured TV and radio channel to the network using UDP/IP packets. The video and audio data is transmitted across the network in the same format as it arrived from the broadcaster through the aerial – MPEG2 in the UK or MPEG4 in some European areas. The IP packets may be configured as Multicast or Unicast.
